Coming from the cold and dark climate of the Valais Alps, the Monthey-based band Winter in Deutschland is inspired by the essence of coldwave and post-punk. Their songs have a lot of depth and beautifully sad, hypnotizing melodies. And added to that is experimenting with fuzzy, noisy, alternative and psychedelic sounds. The result is very impressive, and subliminally captivating. Proof of this are this live show as well as the two amazing albums Motel Limité (2015) and Winter in Deutschland (second edition) (2020).
