Covering a song is showing appreciation for it and/or for its author. At the same time it is also taking the challenge of covering an already beloved song that seems insurmountable. And yes, it is almost inevitable to compare the cover with the ‘perfect’ original song.
Despite this difficult task, in some cases the covers become interesting versions, telling us the story but from another point of view.
We want to appreciate the work of the musicians for taking on the challenge and presenting their tribute.
